I took a tumble

Hello everyone! I trust you all had an amazing weekend?

So, my husband really wanted to go riding on Sunday and no one wanted to go because they thought it was going to be too muddy. Hmm...well that should have been my first clue!! Right?! Wrong!

I thought it would be fun...something we could do together. Some bonding time.

This is me while we were getting ready to take off. Making sure my helmet still fit and everything.

We were having fun. It was a little muddy but nothing too bad. Mike was on his dirt bike so he could go places that I couldn't go on the 4 wheeler.

So, I may or may not have thought I was on a dirt bike at one point...and over I went.

This is the result of a rolled 4 wheeler folks. The bottom picture is my leg where the handle bars {I'm assuming} jammed in to my leg.

I also have a big scrape down my back and a bruise on my behind but those are pictures I'm not willing to share! ;)

It could have been a lot worse and I'm so thankful for my hunny who was there to pull me to safety! I didn't break anything {that I know of} so like I said...could have been a lot worse! I'm pretty sore today. I must have hit my head pretty hard. {I did have a helmet on} I was washing my hair this morning and on the back of my head was a little knot and some pain. WEAR A HELMET PEOPLE! Moral of the story...be safe and smart! Don't ride without a helmet and proper gear on...unfortunately I didn't have boots on or protective clothing. But I did have a helmet on which possible saved my life!
