A Case of the Monday's

Good Morning Everyone! Well it's almost afternoon now! :) Either way I hope your day is going exactly how you wanted it to go. Mine however is not. It's for sure a Monday. I've been trying to find a quote or something to get me going and I've found this one...

“Wherever you go, go with all your heart.” - Confucius

It's not really a "Monday" quote necessarily but it definitely helped me this morning. Wherever I am I need to be there with all of my heart.

I've been dealing with trusting God lately too. As you know, {because I confessed it}, we are trying to have another baby. After the miscarriage, I have found it extremely hard to trust God for another baby. Every twinge, pain, cramp, ect means there is something wrong with me. {right?} WRONG! I have convinced myself that I must have something wrong with my insides over and over again. I have also convinced myself that I'm pregnant every month only to get a NEGATIVE every time I pee on that stupid little stick. haha. Sorry if that's too much info for ya.

Anyway...this quote reminded me of the verse...

 

Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart. Wherever you go go with ALL your heart. See the connection. If I'm going to trust God that we will conceive again I need to trust Him with ALL of my heart.

 

This goes for anything, not just in conceiving. Our health, finances, marriage, work, family, friends, and anything else that we're going through at the moment.

 

Is there anything that you need to trust God with ALL of your heart for? It's hard but if you keep this verse in front of you it will give you peace and the courage to face whatever it is.

Even though these are all iPhone pictures you get the "picture." Mike and I decided not to battle the crowds and stay in for this Valentine's Day. It was suuuper special and I loved every part of it. Even Qunicey had a good time with his pink boa. He's very protective! He also doesn't like if I take pictures with the flash on so I had to take it without the flash.

Confessions Lately

1. I'm totally in love with graham crackers in milk. I could go thru the whole box in one day. My husband has to put a limit on my graham cracker consumption.

2. I've totally been slacking on my diet. Totally. I mean since Christmas I've totally let the diet thing blow out the window. I have gained some weight back so I'm starting again tomorrow. Seriously. Tomorrow!

3. I'm a shopaholic. "Hi, my name is Danielle and I'm a Shopaholic." It's that bad. I've officially frozen my debit card in water in the freezer so I can't just swipe and go. I'm being proactive about it. :) Right?

4. We are trying to have a baby! Woohoo!

5. I miss the girl in this picture! This is my cousin Katelyn! She lives in California and I want to visit her so bad!

Calling All College Students {Campus Book Rentals & Operation Smile}

Happy Monday all!! How was your weekend??

Today I want to talk to you about Campus Book Rentals. CampusBookRentals.com and their new program, RentBack (www.RentBack.com) are a great option for college students. I never had to worry about books when I went to RHEMA because our books were not ones that we had to give back or would want to give back for that matter. But if I did, this would for sure be the way to go!!

RentBack is new initiative that allows students to rent the textbooks they own - to other students... which is awesome because it makes you 2-4x more money compared to what you'd make through buyback options! (selling your books back at the end of the semester) Isn't that awesome?!

But the best part of all about Campus Book Rentals is that the donate back to Operation Smile!
This organization is amazing. It helps underprivilaged children in poor countries who have cleft pallet and other disfigurations of thier mouth.

Dear Husband, you are one amazing man. I have been dealing with some things and you are right there by my side. I can't believe you love me so much!

Dear Readers, thank you for sticking with me while I decided to quit blogging for a little snipet! I'm back and ready to go at it again. Maybe not full force but more than nothing!

Dear Blog, I promise to spruce you up and make you more exciting. I can't wait until your design is done. It's going to be awesome! I just know it.

Dear Winter, I've had enough. You're starting to give me the blues and my weight loss is at a halt because I just can't run and stare at the wall anymore.

Dear Summer, I already talked to Winter and we both agree it's time for you to come.

Dear 27th Birthday {sorry you missed it}, you weren't so bad. I've decided to declare this my birthday year. Every day is my birthday and I get to do whatever I want all the time. Haha j/k that would be awesome but not realistic. Slowly creepin' up there to 30. I'll just stay 29 forever like my mom! ;) Mom!

I'm back! {did you miss me?}

 

 

So, I've decided to rejoin the blogging world. I'm still working on a new blog design and possible name change. When I started this blog I wasn't really thinking about the long run and how much my little space would grow. There are so many blogs out there with a similar name that I don't feel it stands out in a way that I want!

That being said, I'm taking suggestions for new names for my little space. There may be a little prize involved! I will take a compilation of suggestions, put them in a poll and let the readers vote on them. The person who has come up with the winner will get something from me! :) I of course want a say in this as well, but I need suggestions. I have so many different things going through my brain that I can't narrow anything down so I need some help.

Also, if there is anyone out there that would be willing to help me redesign my space too I would be ever so grateful. I would be willing to exchange in some way for your efforts, but I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a new design. I am toooootally clueless when it comes to html stuff and blogging. I mean I can do basic stuff like change picture sizes and make buttons but I have not one single clue as how to do blog design.

I probably won't be posting every day like I did before because I don't want to get burnt out! I also like spending time with my man at night and this little brake has put things in to perspective for me!
